When is it worth buying a apple laptop?
Theyre more expensive than a PC(memory, accesories). What are the advantages of owning an apple? I’m looking into buying a power notebook on either end
The main reason that people prefer apple computers is because of their different operating system. In windows, you often have to deal with annoying prompts that a normal user does not understand. Also windows runs many programs by itself that are not run by the user. (You can see a list of these programs by pressing control+ alt+ delete, and going to tasks). Apple computers do not run these programs, and are thusly more stable and rarely crash. As apple puts it “They just work.” Apple computers also have very few viruses, so they are not prone to the next big virus going around the campus or office that will wipe out your computer. Finally, Apple OSX easily communicates with many devices on its own, without long installation processes or external drivers, in other words, it can speak the language of many devices (Cameras, Ipods, printers, external Hard drives, and so on) as is. It is true they are often more expensive, but they are quality machines. Not to mention newer ones can run windows as well as OSX.
If the traits listed above are worth more to you then the price difference you would spend, it is worth it. If not, then don’t buy an apple.
