Laptop Ram 4gb

Is 4GB RAM in a laptop enough to support use of MS Windows 7 (64 bit) and heavy use of MS Office apps?

I am a heavy user of MS Office apps and Visio often open concurrently. Will I notice any latency with 4GB of RAM? How much difference would I notice with 6GB? I am not a developer or media-type person.

yea it’s fine, don’t know if going from 4 to 6 would be worth it, maybe going to 8, one of ours runs fine with 2gb, the limit for 32bit is 3.5gb, your 64bit OS can address more
