How do i connect a wireless router to a laptop without a modem?

I am connected to the internet through a ethernet directly into the wall. There for there is no modem. I’m trying to connect a BELKIN G wireless router to my laptop.

Very simple you must connect your BELKIN G router to this ethernet and work wireless or else call your Internet service provider to do that work for you.
