My computer monitor is not turning on/working properly?
I turn on my computer, & no image comes out on the monitor screen. the little button just flashes, & the computer sounds like it always does as if it were working.
i did try unplugging & plugging. it worked the first times, but not anymore.
& it’s not in sleep mode i’m sure.
What can I do?
Buy a new monitor? Loose connection?
please help, thankyou.
my monitor is a Gateway & my computer is a Windows Vista.
Just a wild guess but maybe the refresh rate on your old monitor was set higher then what your new one is capable of the result the computer not showing a image. I’ve had similar problems for that reason. Trying plugging in the old monitor if you still have it and change to 60 hertz refresh rate.
