Gaming computer fan setup?
I built my own high-end gaming pc a few months ago, and now I’m wondering what would be a good fan setup for me so I can get good airflow for future overclocking. I have 4 case fans, a 120mm in the back, 2 80mm on the side, and a 80mm on the top. The back fan blows out, the top fan blows out, and the side fans suck in. Is this a good configuration, or should I change the direction of some of the fans? If I should, how would I go about doing that? Also, should I add a front fan? Thanks for any help, and please, only experienced answers ![]()
I didn’t list my psu, cpu, or graphics card fans as that wasn’t what my question was about. Thank you for the suggestion on a frontal fan, but my real concern was if the air flow directions of the case fans is the most efficient possible configuration.
I have the thermaltake armor, so the top is a honeycomb style grate. I have all the fans it eh case blowing inward, and the heat just comes out the top. Work with the direction of heat; upwards.
