please help me!!
a student plays computer games, he won 370 out of 500 games, he then wins x games and loses none of them…he won 75% of total games played…find x??

Answer:

x = 20

Explanation:

In all, he wins:

(370 + x)/(500 + x)

But this = 75%

So:

(370 + x)/(500 + x) = 0.75

So (370 + x) = 0.75(500 + x) = 375 + 0.75x

So 0.25x = 375 – 370 = 5

So x = 5/0.25 = 20
